Caring For Your Flowers

Flowers generally last between 3-7 days. We suggest these simple yet effective steps to enjoy your flowers for as long as possible.

 

ARRANGEMENTS

Arrangements require water daily. It is easiest to water the arrangement from the back. Simply pour a small amount of water into the arrangement , inside the cellophane, ensuring that the oasis foam is just covered by the water height.

 

BOUQUETS/POSIES

It is recommended to cut a centimetre off the bottom of the stems on an angle, before placing in a vase of clean fresh water. This allows the flowers to drink more efficiently. It is also beneficial to change the water in your vase every few days. Flowers last longer in clean, fresh water.

 

FLOWERS

Flowers should generally last between 3-7 days. It is recommended you keep your flowers in a cool place, away from heaters, and specific fruits that increase the ripening process.

 

ARTIFICIAL ARRANGEMENTS

We recommend using a clean dry paintbrush to dust artificial arrangements, or set your hair dryer on the cool setting, to blow away the dust. We strongly recommend using caution if wiping with a damp cloth, as some artificial components will absorb the wet dust, and produce a stain.
